Welcome to TepperMind. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TepperMind website, products, subscriptions, digital materials, AI-assisted instructional tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About TepperMind
TepperMind provides LSAT preparation materials and related educational resources, including digital course content, rule cards, AI-assisted instructional tools, written materials, videos, workflows, and related services. TepperMind is an independent test-preparation service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LSAC. LSAT® is a registered trademark of the Law School Admission Council, Inc.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share, transfer, sublicense, or allow any other person to use your account without prior written permission from TepperMind. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are shared, accessed by unauthorized users, or used in violation of these Terms.
4. Subscription and Billing
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions are billed at $199 per month and automatically renew each billing period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method in the amount and frequency disclosed at checkout.
You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively reverse charges already processed. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued for charges already processed.
Any trial, discount, promotional period, or special pricing offer is governed by the terms presented at the time of signup. Unless stated otherwise, standard recurring billing begins automatically after any trial or promotional period ends.
5. Checkout Terms
By completing a purchase, you agree that:
- your subscription renews automatically each month unless canceled
- cancellation stops future renewals only
- charges already processed are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise
- your subscription is subject to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy
6. Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, TepperMind grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written permission.
7. Intellectual Property
All TepperMind materials — including course content, rule cards, written materials, graphics, videos, screenshots, workflows, tutor logic, site copy, design elements, and related resources — are owned by TepperMind or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Your subscription does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, repost, resell, publish, display, transmit, modify, create derivative works from, license, exploit, or otherwise use TepperMind materials except as expressly permitted in writing by TepperMind.
8. Prohibited Conduct
- share or resell access to the Service
- allow another person to access the Service through your account
- copy, reproduce, distribute, repost, or resell TepperMind materials
- scrape, harvest, download, or extract site content or tutor outputs at scale
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to replicate tutor logic, workflows, or prompts
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes
- interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the Service
- submit content that infringes the rights of others
9. No Sharing / No Resale
Your subscription is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, sublicensed, or resold. You may not permit any other person to access the Service through your account. TepperMind may suspend or terminate accounts that are shared or used by unauthorized persons.
10. No Copying / No Derivative Use
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, repost, publish, display, transmit, create derivative works from, sell, license, or exploit any TepperMind materials — including rule cards, course content, tutor flows, screenshots, videos, graphics, written materials, or related resources — without prior written permission from TepperMind.
11. Tutor Inputs and User Submissions
You may submit information through the tutor or other interactive features of the Service. You retain ownership of your submissions to the extent you own them, but you grant TepperMind a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, reproduce, display, and analyze such submissions as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and support the Service.
Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, confidential third-party information, medical information, or other information you do not want processed through the Service.
12. Educational Use Only; No Guarantees
TepperMind is an educational service only. TepperMind does not guarantee any LSAT score, admission result, scholarship result, or other specific outcome. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Individual performance depends on many factors outside TepperMind's control.
13. No Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship
TepperMind does not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of the Service, your purchase of any TepperMind product, or any communication with TepperMind. Scott J. Tepper is a Registered New York Attorney who is not currently practicing law.
14. No Medical or Mental Health Advice
Any anxiety-related, mindset-related, or performance-related content is educational only. TepperMind does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or mental health treatment, diagnosis, or advice. The Service is not a substitute for licensed professional care.
15. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party services including MemberSpace (account management), Stripe (payment processing), Netlify (hosting), and Anthropic (AI tutor infrastructure). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. TepperMind is not responsible for third-party services.
16. Service Availability and Changes
TepperMind may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may update content, features, prices, functionality, or site structure from time to time.
17. Termination and Suspension
TepperMind may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if TepperMind reasonably believes that you have violated these Terms, shared your account, copied or distributed materials without permission, misused the Service, or engaged in conduct that may harm TepperMind, its users, or its rights. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ends immediately, except for provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. TepperMind disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability. TepperMind does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that use of the Service will produce any particular result.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TepperMind and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of revenue, profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, scholarship outcome, admission outcome, or test result arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TepperMind's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to TepperMind in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TepperMind and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of another person or entity, or your unauthorized copying, sharing, or resale of TepperMind materials.
21. Injunctive Relief
You acknowledge that unauthorized copying, sharing, disclosure, or misuse of TepperMind materials may cause irreparable harm for which monetary damages may be inadequate. Accordingly, TepperMind may seek injunctive or equitable relief, in addition to any other remedies available at law, to protect its intellectual property and proprietary materials.
22. Force Majeure
TepperMind will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages, hosting failures, payment processor disruptions, governmental actions, labor disputes, natural disasters, acts of God, or other force majeure events.
23. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
24. Changes to These Terms
TepperMind may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
